MonoRanks for Shopify shows what holds each product and page back, right inside your Shopify admin. Find MonoRanks in the Shopify App Store, press Install, and follow Shopify's steps. In the app, press Connect. MonoRanks opens in a new tab. Sign in, pick your website, and press Connect.

Back in Shopify, your first check takes about ten minutes. Overview shows your health score, how ready you are for AI answers, your Google clicks once Google is connected, and your fixes ready. Below are the pages to fix first, and your recent changes.

0:56 Fixes: apply and undo
Changes happen under Fixes. Approve a draft in MonoRanks, and it waits here, under Ready. You can also write your own text. Then press Apply. It's now on your store, and it moves to Applied. Undo puts the old text back, for thirty days.

1:14 Structured data
Structured data helps search engines read your store. If it's off, press Turn on, switch it on in the theme editor, and save. Then choose what to show, and leave off what your theme already has.

Install and connect

1. Get MonoRanks from the Shopify App Store and open it in your Shopify admin.
2. Next to Connect MonoRanks, click Connect. A MonoRanks tab opens. Sign in or create a free account, pick your store’s website or add it, then click Connect.
3. Go back to Shopify. The app updates in a few seconds and sends your products, collections, pages and blog posts. The first check takes about 10 minutes.
4. Open Structured data and click Turn on. Switch on MonoRanks in the theme editor and save.

Store not open yet? Add your storefront password under Settings → Store password.

Plans

• Free: $0, up to 3 websites.
• Starter: $10 a month, with a 14-day trial.

See every limit on the pricing page. To change plans, open Settings → Plan → Change plan. Shopify bills you in USD, on your Shopify bill.

A workspace that already pays on monoranks.com cannot connect a store. Cancel that plan in MonoRanks under Settings → Billing, or use another account.

What you see in the app

• Overview: your Health and Ready for AI answers scores, Google clicks over 28 days once Google is connected, pages to fix first, fixes ready and recent changes with Undo.
• Fixes: Ready, Applied and Failed tabs, with the current and the new text. Write your own text, or approve an AI draft in MonoRanks.
• Products & pages: every item with its scores and top issue, worst first, plus four checks: same title, short description, images without text, title too long.
• Structured data: the theme switch, and which data to add.
• Settings: the connection, your plan, the store password and your change count.

What the app reads

Your published products, collections, pages and blog posts: titles, addresses, descriptions, SEO fields, image addresses, alt text and dates. It sends them to MonoRanks when a product or collection changes, and in full once a day. MonoRanks also checks your public store pages, as it does for any website.

It never reads orders, customers, payments, staff accounts or theme code.

Shopify’s install screen also lists navigation access. The app does not use it today.

What it writes

Only what you apply: SEO titles, meta descriptions and image alt text. The app can also hide a page from search engines (noindex), but only if you apply that fix. MonoRanks does not suggest it today. Before each write the app checks the field. If it changed since the suggestion, nothing is written and the app tells you. Every write is listed under Fixes → Applied with Undo for 30 days, and MonoRanks checks the page again.

Structured data is printed by the theme switch from your store data. It is a setting of the app, never part of your theme files.

Uninstall

Remove MonoRanks from the apps in your Shopify admin. The app stops reading and writing, and the structured data stops. Changes already applied stay in your store, so undo them first if you want them gone. Shopify asks the app to delete what it keeps about your store 48 hours later, and it does. Your MonoRanks website and history stay until you remove the website there.
