0:00 Your first audit
Your first audit takes about five minutes, and there's nothing to install.

0:05 Add a website
Start on the Websites page, and click Add website. Type your website's address, then press Add website.

0:14 The audit runs
The check starts right away. It reads your page list, visits your pages, checks each one, tests speed, and works out your scores. A small site takes seconds, and a big one a few minutes. You can leave the page while it runs.

0:30 Site score and three tiles
When it's done, open Overview. Your site score sums up the website, out of one hundred. Next to it are three tiles. Health covers the technical basics. AI answers ready shows how easy your pages are for AI tools to use. Named by AI fills in once you add the questions your customers ask.

0:50 Fix next and priority labels
Below, Fix next shows what to do first. Every task has a priority label: urgent, high, medium or low.

0:59 Open a task
Open a task. Here, one page has no title, so search engines have nothing good to show for it. Open How to fix. Copy instructions gives you text for your developer or AI tool.

1:13 Apply one fix
With the WordPress plugin connected, check the new title, press Apply, and confirm. MonoRanks writes it to your site. After MonoRanks writes a change, it checks the page again. When the check passes, the task shows Fixed, confirmed.

1:28 Other sites, and Check again
Other sites work a little differently. On Webflow, you publish afterwards. On Shopify, you approve it here, then apply it inside the MonoRanks app there. On any other site, make the change yourself. Changed it yourself? Press Check again on the task.

1:46 See it in Activity
Activity lists every check and every change, and a change written by MonoRanks can be undone there.

1. Add a website

In MonoRanks, open Websites and choose Add a website. Type the address and press Add website. Client and category are optional.

2. Let the audit run

The first check starts right away: it reads your page list, visits your pages, checks each one, tests speed and works out your scores. A small site takes seconds, a big one a few minutes. You can leave the page.

3. Read the site score and the three tiles

Open Overview. The site score sums up the website out of 100. Next to it:

  • Health: the technical basics.
  • AI answers ready: how easy your pages are for AI assistants to use.
  • Named by AI: how often AI answers mention you. It fills in once you add the questions your customers ask.

4. Open Fix next

Fix next lists what to do first. Every task has a priority label: Urgent, High, Medium or Low. Start at the top.

5. Open a task

The task shows what we found: the exact pages and their current values. How to fix has the steps, and Copy instructions gives you a text to send your developer.

6. Apply, or fix it yourself and check again

With the WordPress plugin connected, check the suggested value and press Apply. MonoRanks writes the change, checks the page again and marks the task Fixed (confirmed).

No plugin? Make the change on your site, then press Check again on the task.

7. See it in Activity

Activity lists every check and every change. A change written by MonoRanks can be undone there.
